What is the iSustain Award?
Within the sustainable design challenge, the A/E Building Council launched the iSUSTAIN AWARD that brings together students, professional, and collegiate teams to compete in presenting the most creative and sustainable design solutions to the challenges facing Jordan’s built environment with the ultimate goal of fostering innovation in the field of sustainable design. It sets out to achieve the following objectives:
- Empowering Youth and enhance their skills to be capable of consolidating the concept of sustainability.
- Connect youth with professionals and sustainability experts to guide and support them through their work.
- Encourage a medium for innovation in sustainable design by engaging youth, consultancy firms, and technology experts to raise awarness of new technologies and smart solutions for sustainable development.
- Honor and recognize those who integrated innovation, sustainable strategies within their designs.
